Area 1 Training at Colchester
Camulodunum Club were pleased to host the Area One Training Day on Saturday 11th February 2006. The training was held in the pleasent surroundings of the Oaks Hospital.
Kevin Bradley (ATM CL) led the morning, whilst District PR Officer Gary Sander (DTM) presented the first training session, which was assisted by Division Governor Teresa Dukes (ATMB AL).
The first session considered why clubs lose established members and what actions can be taken to provide these experienced speakers a more challenging and satisfying programme.
In the second session, Kevin asked participants to consider and share information on the roles of various club officers and how those roles could be improved
Teresa Dukes led the final session, which outlined the new Competent Leader programme and considered the implications of its introduction into the club programme.

Nineteen club officers from four clubs attended and all agreed that it had been a useful and informative morning and that added value was always gained from club members meeting together in this way.
