Update on Speak Easy @ Martlesham is as follows:

Last night was our third meeting but our first 'official' meeting where we ran things as they are meant to be run at a regular evening. The weather was atrocious with rain and sleet and biting cold but that did not stop our diehards - 29 people showed up for a fun packed evening of topics and excellent Icebreaker Speeches. 10 of those people were guests with the remaining numbers being made up of 7 Electrifiers, 11 Speak Easy and 1 being our very own Division Governor. It was a spectacular evening and flowed with loads of laughter and warmth.

As for the number of people we have signed up following this third meeting - here are the facts:

Brand New Members = 17
Dual Members = 6 (includes Jeff & I)
Total = 23

We said we would do it at the Conference and if my maths are correct this gives us the required numbers to charter the club. I will be sorting out the paper work this weekend!!!!! Yipeee!!!!!!

Jeff & I no longer feel like we've lost our minds - We feel like Eagles soaring the skies of AREA 1 and nurturing all these new chicks. I can tell you as well, these chicks are quick learners and I expect them to start flying very soon giving all the clubs in the Area, Division, & District a run for their money!
